News Active is a Helsinki based television and streaming production company. Our line of business includes different filming and sound recording jobs for television as well as editing and graphic design (ie. animations, TG's and program ID's). We mainly use new digital technology in our productions, but Beta SP and other analog formats are also available.

    We are specialized in breaking news to providie ENG crews, editing facilities and field producing services on very short notice. News Active was the first ENG crew on scene for example when the suicide bomb exploded in a shopping mall near Helsinki in 2002. Our pictures were the first to air on national television channels and soon after that all over the world via news agencies. We also covered the tsunami aftermath in Thailand for Channel Four News in Finland.

    Our clients include YLE1, YLE2, YLE24, MTV3 and Channel Four in Finland. Also Sky News, BBC, CNN and MSNBC have used our material, as well as news agencies like APTN.
    We mainly work in Finland but travelling to other Nordic states, Europe, Asia and USA is also possible.
Our crews are experienced to work on tight schedule and under the pressure of deadlines while still maintaining top quality in television story telling.
